Dear CCDS Parents:

Despite some stormy weather conditions, our 19th annual CCDS Auction of Goods & Services took place on Saturday, March 13th at the Harness Racing Museum in Goshen and was a huge success!
Close to 60 people attended the event which was catered by Holbert’s Catering of Montgomery, NY. In attendance were many CCDS parents, grandparents, friends, alumni parents, teachers, CCDS staff and local business owners who all came out to support this very important fundraising event for our school.
All of your efforts and generosity clearly helped us reach this important goal. There are many people to thank for the success of this event. Whether you donated items for the class baskets, helped set up at the museum the day before, made one of the delicious desserts for the evening, or solicited a donation from a local business owner – Thank you. And again this year, even with this challenging economy, we received countless donations and sponsorships from local businesses. A full list of those businesses can be found below. We encourage you to think of them and patronize them throughout the year.
Last, and certainly not least, we have to thank our teachers and the entire CCDS staff for their part in this year’s auction. Their donations, personally crafted items, assistance with the art projects - handcrafted by your children - were the sentimental favorites of the auction!
In all, it was a wonderful evening. As one parent said, “I had no idea what this event was about, but I will definitely plan to be here next year!” We hope you will join us in 2011 for our 20th auction and we thank you again for your continued support of the school and our students.
